Who Are we?
Our Mission
As individuals and as a church family, we believe that the Christian faith calls us to high commitment to Jesus Christ as the Son, the Savior, and the Lord, according to the scriptures. Because of the loyalty we will do our best to meet spiritual, physical, and emotional need wherever we find it in the world. “Not only for one, but for everyone.”
We rejoice that our Wesleyan theological traditions stands firmly within the richness of classical Christian teaching. We pray for its renewal in each United Methodist congregation and conference.
The center of our congregational life is worship. From this adoration and praise of God grows our desire to nurture and educate ourselves and others, and to care for God’s world and people through mission involvement.
Our Mission Statement
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 28:19-20; 22:37, 39b
